Education
AI4Good2’s proposed education project is dedicated to bridging educational gaps by providing AI-assisted learning tools to children in Malawi and Zambia, particularly those who depend on the Malawi Center for both schooling and meals. Our mission is to create equitable, quality learning experiences that adapt to each student’s needs.

Current Work & Achievements
Initial site visits revealed high enthusiasm for learning among local children, despite limited resources. Photos:

Although technology access is currently minimal, AI4Good2 is planning pilot deployments of adaptive learning platforms and multilingual literacy programs once sufficient funding is secured. Challenges & Needs
Key challenges include scant technology infrastructure, limited internet, and a shortage of trained educators familiar with AI tools. To address these, we require:
Donations to supply tablets or low-cost devices that can run adaptive learning software offline and via the AI4Good2 Cloud hosted by AWS and Microsoft.
Educational Content Partnerships to develop curriculum tailored to local languages and cultures. English is an official language, but villagers primarily use the native languages.
Training Programs for local teachers and volunteers to effectively integrate AI-based tools into daily lessons.
Future Vision & Expansion

Long-term aspirations involve:
- Widespread deployment of AI-powered education solutions in remote schools, improving literacy and STEM knowledge.
- Creation of a local support network for continuous software updates and tech maintenance.
- Empowering students with the skills needed to pursue higher education and enter the global workforce.
